Dead Can Dance
What an amazing show that was last night, Dead Can Dance at the Paramount. One of the best concerts I have ever attended. Soon to be a live album too, I had no clue that the concert was being recorded.
It was a great evening all around. Dinner beforehand was good (overpriced but good). Hanging out at Charlies afterwards was even better (the company and conversation, not the food, since we didn't have any).
I haven't even been to a concert in a while anyway. The last shows I saw in Virginia were festival venues with a dozen punk bands and skateboard vendors. Fun. Crowded goofy fun.
Last night was an actual artistic and transcendent experience.
